Acumen Capital Partners, a Calgary based boutique wealth management firm, has an opening for a Director of Advisor Engagement to join our team. As the Director of Advisor Engagement, you will play a key role in our advisor recruiting efforts on a part-time basis. Your mission is to build relationships, create meaningful touchpoints, and leave a lasting impression on potential advisors.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must be detail oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Superior time management and organization ability is required as additional responsibilities include executive communication and relationship building, lead management, social media engagement, proactive outreach, and gift & experience coordination. A personable approach and demonstrated ability to build rapport and strong client relationships is essential.

The successful candidate will create a client focused experience with strong verbal and written communication skills that capture the professional presence and client first culture of our organization.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in executive support, business development, recruiting, client relations, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior-level professionals in a polished and strategic manner.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Social media savvy, with experience engaging on LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing multiple relationships and touchpoints.
  • Proactive and creative mindset—always looking for ways to impress and engage potential advisors.
  • Experience in financial services, investment advisory, or wealth management is a plus.
