Myja Miller is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Acumen having joined the Acumen team in 2003. Myja is an active member of the investment industry currently serving on the Market Advisory Committee of the Alberta Securities Commission and previously serving as Chair of the Alberta District Council of IIROC, as well as participating in numerous committees of the Investment Industry Association of Canada.
Myja placed in the Top 20 out of over 2,500 writers of the Uniform Final Exam (UFE) in 2000 and obtained the Chartered Accountant designation, now Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, in 2002. She also holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan.
Outside the office, Myja is dedicated to her family, being a wife and a mother to three amazing sons. She also enjoys volunteering as manager/coach of minor sports teams, reading on a wide range of topics and recently started indoor climbing.
