Born in Romania and raised in Calgary, I love Canada and the opportunities and natural wonders it has to offer. I am proud of my European values in terms of food and family, but I like to say that I bleed maple syrup.
In 2007 I graduated from St. Francis Xavier University, a top ranked Canadian undergraduate University, where I majored in Economics and minored in English. Afterwards I started my career in banking and quickly found a love for the investment world.
The investments I am the most passionate about are artificial intelligence, robotics, and space exploration. To better understand these new frontiers, in 2016 I left Calgary and spent time in San Francisco learning software development and deep diving into the world of technology. I then returned to Calgary and attained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, the highest level of certification a Financial Planner can achieve in Canada.
My mission is to leverage my traditional education with my unique knowledge of technology to help clients take advantage of the rapid changes happening in our world. I joined Acumen Capital Partners, a boutique wealth management firm, where I can select investments which I strongly believe in without pressure to use proprietary, or “in-house” funds.
