Before joining Acumen Govind was the CCO of another brokerage firm for 3.5 years and has more than 15 years compliance experience. Before that, he worked for 10 years at a major Canadian bank in the capacities of Registered Representative and Financial Advisor.
Govind stays current on compliance issues by participating in various committee including the Alberta District Council where he is also a past Chair and has served as a panelist on IIROC educational seminars. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is a CFA charter holder.
Outside of work Govind, enjoys the outdoor activities that Calgary and area have to offer and closely follows all the happenings of his beloved Saskatchewan Roughriders.
