David joined Acumen Capital in 2017, with over 18 years of previous experience in capital markets. Before Acumen, David was a partner and Vice President at FirstEnergy Capital, serving as an equity trader covering North American and Global Institutional accounts in Canadian energy stocks for over a decade. David also previously held both retail and institutional roles at two other Canadian investment dealers. While pursuing his education at the University of Calgary, he also captained the men's varsity hockey team.
