Brendan comes to Acumen having recently completed his MBA along with a 15-year pro hockey career which included a season with the Calgary Flames. Adding to this is over 15 years of personal portfolio management which has required him to navigate many different market and economic environments. Brendan’s diverse set of life, personal and portfolio management skills will be an asset to his clients. Working with the Woo Fong Investment Group at Acumen, he will continue his development, with the target of providing outstanding value and performance to clients and their portfolios. Having seen the many perils of poor financial management amongst athletes and many others, Brendan aims to both educate and empower his clients to take control over their financial futures, working alongside them as a quarterback for their finances as well as many of their life management decisions. In his spare time, he still enjoys lacing up the skates from time to time, playing golf, along with a passion for health & fitness and spending time with his wife and their pet bichon.
